European competitions return
midweek after a three week break. Barcelona play Arsenal at Wembley in
the Champions League on Tuesday, and Real Madrid and Valencia are away
to Oporto and at home to Bayern Munich respectively on Wednesday. All
matches are scheduled to kick off at 20.45 European time (19.45 in the
UK), with the Barcelona and Valencia matches being showed live on
national television in Spain, and the Madrid match on Pay-Per-View
(and also replayed on national television at 22.45).
In the UEFA cup, Celta play
Aris Salonica in Greece on Tuesday, kicking off at 18.00, Mallorca
play away at Teplice of the Czech Republic on Thursday (KO 19.30), and
Atlético de Madrid and Deportivo de la Coruña play at
home to Amica Wronki (Poland) and Montpellier (France) respectively on
Thursday (times to be announced). All UEFA matches are on PPV. Return
legs will be played on or around 4th November. |
