San Gallen, Switzerland. Spain beat Bosnia 3-1 in their first of three warm up games in preparation for the upcoming European finals. Still missing the players who took part in Saturday’s Champions League final, and with nine others who played in various cup finals throughout Europe only joining the squad 24 hours ago, Del Bosque was forced to turn to his reserve list of youngsters to make up his line-up. Three of those, Sergio Asenjo, Bellerín and Marco Asensio started the match, and five others were also given their first run outs for the senior squad after the break. Even so it was a comfortable victory, Begovic having to save from Aduriz before Nolito opened the scoring following a corner. The Celta forward made it two soon afterwards with a lob over the head of Begovic, and only a good save from the Chelsea keeper prevented him from scoring a hat-trick. With half an hour gone Spahic headed one back from a Pjanic corner, but with the first half coming to a close the ex Sevilla defender got himself sent off after clashing with Azpilicueta and then Fàbregas. Asenjo had to be on his toes though after the restart to keep out Hajrovic and Duric, and a centre from Duljevic went past everyone and hit the post. Oyarzabal and Denis Suárez went close at the other end however, and with the game in injury time Pedro wrapped things up after Begovic could only push out a shot from Iñaki Williams. Spain now go on to play South Korea in Salzburg in three days time before returning home for the final friendly game against Georgia.
