Víctor Valdés returns to his usual place this week, back to the top of the Zamora chart after Barcelona's 0-1 victory at Granada. The Barça keeper has not let in a single goal in just under 700 minutes of football in all competitions, and if he manages to do so for another game and a half he will beat the all-time club record of 824 minutes set in the 1972-3 season by Miguel Reina (who if we are not mistaken is the father of Liverpool's Pepe). Valdés has also not let in a league goal in the Nou Camp since 9th April, when Corona scored for Almería. His two closest rivals this year Munúa and Javi Varas both let in two, but there were clean sheets in the midweek round of games for Casillas (Real Madrid), Guaita (Valencia), Cobeño (Rayo), Cristian Alvarez (Espanyol) and Iraizoz (Athletic Bilbao). Only one change, Willy Caballero returning as predicted for Málaga after serving out a one match ban. Not that it made that much difference though as Pellegrini's side fell to a third defeat in a row. (28.10.11)
