Four red cards this weekend,
including two for Deportivo players De Guzman and Manuel Pablo who were both
sent off for second bookable offences in the second half of the match at
Cádiz. Betis keeper Contreras got his marching orders for giving away a
penalty on Espanyol's Tamudo, and Mallorca's physical trainer saw red for
calling referee Pérez Lasa a thief after his side lost in the last
minute against Osasuna. Valencia's Albelda is the first man to reach the 15
yellow card mark, and he will sit out next weekend's games together with Juan
Rodríguez (Málaga) and Felipe Melo (Racing), both of whom picked
up their tenth bookings, and Luis Fernández (Betis), Zabaleta
(Espanyol), Víctor (Mallorca), Zidane (Real Madrid) and César
(Zaragoza), all of whom received their fifth. (25.04.06) |
