| Last season's top villain was Téllez of Alavés who had 18 cards, with Atlético's Santi and Real Madrid's Guti sharing second place one behind. On the first day of the league 53 cards were shown, but only two were red. Zaragoza's Aguado got sent off for a spectacular save against Espanyol and is our villain of the week. Real Sociedad's Aranzábal was the other player sent off, victim of the over-zealous Prados García. So far last year's top baddies have kept their noses clean. (10.9.00) | ||||||||||||||||
