Luis Fabiano stays at the
top of our chart after scoring one of Sevilla's two goals against Real Madrid
this weekend, although Agüero is still only one behind him after netting
against Villarreal. His goal didn't een save a point though after Nihat scored
twice to add to strikes from Rossi and Fuentes. It was the second seven goal
thriller at the Calderón stadium in four days. Barcelona stayed level
with Villarreal, now just a point behind leaders Madrid, after beating Betis
3-0. Henry got the first, and Ronaldinho added two more with trademark free
kicks.
Valencia came back from
their midweek thrashing by Madrid to beat Mallorca 0-2, Morientes getting both
goals. Tamudo's late penalty kept Espanyol in sixth spot, still ahead of
Zaragoza who lost 2-3 to Valladolid despite strikes by Oliveira and Milito.
Veteran forward Víctor did the damage with two goals on a day that
Bilbao's Exteberría got his 100th (and 101st) goals in the first
division. (05.11.07) |
