| Rivaldo opened up a two goal lead at the top of the
Pichichi table with his match winner at Las Palmas. Javi Moreno got another
penalty in his team's 4-0 rout of Oviedo and he moves up to within a goal of
Guti, who is in second place. Moreno is top scorer in the Spanish league
however, with seven of his eight goals in that competition. Raúl is not
out of it yet, and even though he is not on the same form as previous seasons,
he still got his seventh of the current campaign. It didn't help his side much
though, with Numancia's Rosu getting a hat-trick against them. Bolic got his
first goal in the Spanish league to add to his five goals in Europe, and
Deportivo's super-sub Pandiani joined team mate Tristán in the table
