Real Sociedad thrashed regional rivals Osasuna 5-0 on Saturday afternoon to move up to seventh in the table. Iñigo Martínez headed a Chory Castro corner wide before his fellow centre back Ansotegi got on the end of a long Rubén Pardo free kick to head in the opener with just over half an hour gone, and just two minutes in to the second half Iñigo headed a Rubén Pardo corner past Andrés to make it two. Osasuna's best effort was another header wide by Loties after the restart, but the French centre back got himself sent off for bringing down Vela as he advanced on goal, and soon afterwards Griezmann headed the third after Andrés could only push over an inswinging corner from Pardo. Griezmann had a strike ruled out for a borderline offside after that, but with ten minutes to go Castro made it four after picking up a pass from Seferovic, and six minutes later Seferovic completed the scoring after Agirretxe played the ball on with his heel for José Angel to cross in from the left wing.
