All to play for in the second leg after the play-off semi-final between Las Palmas and Almería ended 1-1. The visitors took the lead in the seventh minute when the defence allowed a long throw-in to bounce through for Aleix Vidal to thrash a shot past Barbosa. After that though the Canary Islanders had the better chances, Momo bringing a good save out of Esteban and Vicente Gómez and Thievy going close. Almería lost top scorer Charles to an injury eary in the second half, but his replacement Jonathan Zongo tested Barbosa with a header, and Carlos Calvo put a good chance over the top. But with five minutes to go Thievy saved the draw after Esteban got a hand to a Gómez header, and the keeper did well to save another header near the end from Hernán, who was taken to hospital with concussion after clashing heads with Trujillo in the play.
