Sevilla are back up to sixth in the table after a 3-2 win over Mallorca in the Monday night game. Both teams started the match level on points, and although the locals had the better of the opening few minutes, the islanders went ahead when Bigas got in front of Palop to turn in Giovani's cross. Four minutes later Negredo made it all square after Manu's cross fell kindly to him, but a minute after that Hemed restored the lead for the visitors, beating Palop with an angled shot after picking up a headed pass from Casadesús. Ten minutes in to the second half however Negredo headed his second of the night from a Jesús Navas cross, and Negredo and Navas went close a couple of times before Cicinho scored the winner with a long shot which deflected off a defender to wrong-foot keeper Aouate.
