Osasuna moved up to fifth in the table, now only four points behind fourth placed Levante, after they came back from a goal down to beat Villarreal 2-1. Andrés had to be on his toes to keep out an early Valero free kick, but otherwise the local keeper had little work to do, and the locals could have taken the lead when Diego López could only parry a long shot from Lamah, Nino putting the rebound wide. Nekounam rattled the crossbar with another long shot soon after the restart, but with just over an hour gone Marco Rubén got on the end of a Cani cross to slide the ball past Andrés. Ibrahima levelled the scores soon afterwards though after Lamah's cross came to him off a defender, and Sergio headed the winner from Timor's corner with ten minutes left on the clock.
