Osasuna are up to seventh in the table after a 1-2 win over Espanyol, who drop a point below them in the rankings after a fourth game without a victory. Both sides were missing key players, and there were few chances until two minutes before the interval, when Raúl García won the ball in midfield and sent Lamah away for him to shoot low past Cristian Alvarez. Just four minutes after the restart however the visitors went two up, Ibrahima and Lamah combining to lay the ball back for Nekounam to beat the keeper once again. Alvaro Vázquez headed one back from Verdú's long cross soon afterwards, and Weiss and Verdú in particular tried their best to level the scores. But despite having Satrustegui sent off for a second bookable offence (his second red card in his first two games with the first team), the visiting defence held fast for their first away win of the season.
