Atlético Madrid stay in seventh spot, level with Sevilla on points, after beating Levante 4-1 on Sunday evening. Elías opened the scoring with an impressive free kick in the eighteenth minute, but scores were level at the break after Caicedo was fouled in the area by Mario Suárez and converted the resulting spot kick. Only a great save from De Gea prevented Jefferson from putting the visitors ahead a couple of minutes after the restart, but almost immediately play went up the other end and Agüero latched on to a loose ball after his first effort was blocked to drill a shot past Munúa. Twenty minutes later Agüero scored his second of the night from the penalty spot after Ballesteros tripped Diego Costa, and Raúl García rounded things off with a near post header from an Elías corner which Munúa turned in to his own net.
