The game on Sunday evening between Osasuna and Zaragoza ended without goals, leaving the Maños still firmly rooted to the foot of the table. The first chance fell to the away side, Sinama-Pongolle firing his shot at Ricardo. But after that the locals took control, Ponzio clearing a Soriano header off the line and Leo Franco keeping out a couple of long range efforts from Nelson. Lafita struck a shot over the bar after the restart and Aranda thought he should have had a penalty when Pinter pulled him over in the area. But after Lolo headed over the bar from Masoud's free kick the chances dried up, and the game petered out to a boring draw.
