Sevilla ended the weekend in third spot after drawing 0-0 on Sunday evening with Deportivo, who themselves have yet to let in or score a single goal. Visiting keeper Manu was the best man on the pitch, saving from Kanouté and Negredo before the break and from Cáceres, Perotti and Negredo after the restart. Negredo looped a header against the crossbar in the first half, and Konko also headed a Perotti cross against the bar later on, but the best chance of the night fell to Lopo, who headed over on the hour mark with the goal at his mercy.
