1-1. 19. Duda. Inswinging corner which went over head of Iraizoz in to net.

Athletic Bilbao ended the mid-week round of games in eighth spot, a point outside of the top six, after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Málaga. Toquero battled past Iván González to give the Basque side a third minute lead, but after Valdo went close a couple of times, Duda levelled the scores with a "gol olimpico" directly from a corner kick. Munúa was in action after that to keep out Llorente, Susaeta and Toquero, but the visitors could have won it in the final minutes had Baha not chosen to try and score himself with two colleagues better placed. In the end a point apiece which leaves Athletic outside of the top six and Málaga just a point above the drop zone, level now with Racing on points.
