Real Madrid started Sunday's match against José Antonio Camacho's Osasuna knowing that a win would take them above leaders Barcelona on goal difference, but in the end they stay two points behind their arch rivals after the match finished without goals. The nearest Pellegrini's side came to scoring was when Higuaín fired an easy chance wide and then brought a good save out of Ricardo after the restart, but otherwise the well-organised defences were not really troubled.
