Villarreal have finally moved out of the relegation spots after an impressive 5-0 victory over Tenerife on Sunday evening. Llorente gave Valverde's side the lead with quarter of an hour gone, and Pires connected with Rossi's cross to make it two just a minute after the restart. Rossi himself made it three soon afterwards, and Llorente netted his second of the night just a minute later. And Cani wrapped things up at the end to make it two wins in a row in the league, taking the pressure off the coach after the bad start to the season.
