Valencia kept up the pace with the leaders after a 2-4 victory at Valladolid, the result taking them level with Barcelona and Real Madrid. David Silva headed them in to an early lead, and although Nauzet equalised on the half hour mark, strikes by David Silva and Mata gave Unai Emery's side a two goal cushion at the break. Villa got his second of the night ten minutes in to the second half, and Manucho completed the scoring a few minutes later.
