Sevilla are still not mathematically sure of third or even fourth spot after a 0-0 draw at Osasuna on Saturday evening, although they are now five points clear of fourth placed Valencia pending their game at Atlético on Sunday. The point was not quite what the locals wanted either, and a win for Sporting tomorrow will leave Camacho's side back down in the relegation spots with only matches against Barcelona and Real Madrid to come.

Pandiani missed a good chance and Javier Flaño hit the crossbar before the break from wide out, but the Andalusians could have won it when Konko headed against the bar after the restart. Both sides ended with ten men after Romaric and Sergio were sent off late on, the first for a second bookable offence and the second for a hard tackle on Diego Capel, and in the end they had to make do with a share of the points.
