Málaga are up to fifth pending Thursday's games after coming from behind to beat Osasuna 2-3 on Wednesday. Apoño opened the scoring early on for the visitors from the penalty spot after Sergio tripped him in the area, but a strike from Plasil and an impressive free kick from Nekounam turned the scoreline around.
Referee Clos Gómez was not in a forgiving mood though, and before the break he sent off Puñal and Jesús Gámez for second bookable offences. And soon after the restart he left the locals with nine men when Josetxo also picked up a second yellow card.
With twenty minutes to go Lolo took advantage to head in Eliseu's cross to equalise, and five minutes later Salva headed the winner past past Roberto. The card count continued when Camacho and his medical assistant were sent to the stands for protesting, and Osasuna ended with eight men after Vadocz was also red-carded near the end.
