Betis moved further away from the danger zone after beating Sporting Gijón 2-0 on Sunday evening, a second win in a row under new coach José María Nogués.
Emaná started things off in the seventh minute after picking up a return pass from Oliveira, and Oliveira himself missed a chance to make it two before the break.
Bilic tried his luck at the other end after the restart, but a bad clearance by Cuéllar gifted the ball to Oliveira, who passed across for Emaná to score his second of the night with twenty minutes to go.
Both sides ended with ten men after Cuéllar was sent off for handling outside of the area and then Arzu picked up a second booking, and Bilic and Nelson tested both keepers before the final whistle.
The win takes Betis four points clear of the Asturians, who are now only three points above the relegation spots.
