Mallorca and Betis cancelled each other out in a thrilling 3-3 draw which left both tied on points just three points above the drop zone. The Andalusians went two up before the break, Mark González tapping the ball in to an empty net after Emaná intercepted Scaloni's back pass and was brought down by Aouate, and Mehmet Aurelio running between two defenders to pick up Emaná's through ball and beat the keeper. And the visitors seemed to be running away with the three points when Arzu headed a third from Emaná's corner soon after the restart.

Mallora's only reply had been an effort against the post from Aduríz before the interval, but Chori Castro came on to get one back after Scaloni laid the ball across to him on the endge of the area. Just three minutes later Webó scored a second after Aduríz played back a cross from the left, and with ten minutes to go Castro got his second of the night to level the scores. One of the comebacks of the season, and a vital point for Manzano's side against a direct relegation rival.
