2-0. 30. Uche. Ran on to Polanski through ball and lifted shot over head of Lux.
2-1. 33. Aduríz. Turned ball in to net from close up after Mario Suárez passed in.
3-1. 71. Manu del Moral. Latched on to loose ball after Contra pass deflected on.
4-1. 85. Gavilán. Steered ball in to net after Guerrón shot came back off post.

Getafe's recent good run continued, and they are now in ninth spot after a 4-1 victory over Mallorca. It was another bad result for the Balearic Islanders, who found themselves in the relegation spots at the end of the weekend after a seventh game without a win.

The Madrid based team went two up in the first half hour, Contra converting a penalty after Uche fell theatrically over Lux's outstretched arm, and Uche himself running on to Polanski's through ball to chip over the advancing keeper.

Two minutes later Aduríz got one back after a long move following a throw-in, the striker finally beating Abbondanzieri after Mario Suárez crossed in.

But with twenty minutes to go Getafe went further ahead after Contra's pass was deflected in to the path of half time substitute Manu del Moral, and Gavilán completed the rout near the end after Guerrón's shot came back off the post.
