Betis are still not completely safe after drawing 1-1 against regional rivals Almería, although with five points between them and the relegation spots it would need an extraordinary series of results for them to go down. Both sides had chances before Odonkor gave the visitors the lead with an individualist goal a couple of minutes before the break, cutting in from the wing to beat Diego Alves. But Pulido equalised just two minutes in to the second half after the defence failed to clear a Juanma Ortíz cross, and Casto put in a sterling performance after that to ensure a point for his side.
