Sevilla have the fourth Champions League spots in their sights after a 2-3 victory at Mallorca. Renato got the first after Moyà dropped a high ball at his feet shortly before the break, but Güiza equalised just a minute after the restart after Palop could only push out a corner.

Half time substitute Kanouté headed against the post though a few minutes later, and soon afterwards he restored the lead with another header from a Daniel Alves free kick. Alves made it three himself with a left foot shot from outside of the area with a quarter of an hour to go, and Palop kept out Arango and Güiza before Webó headed one back from an Arango free kick near the end.
