Zaragoza's new coach Ander
Garitano got off to a good start after beating Murcia 3-1, their first league
win in ten games. Oliveira opened the scoring in the first half with a shot
across Notario after picking up a cross from Sergio García which De Coz
let through. Earlier on Mejía had headed wide from a yard out, and De
Coz and Abel both had chances before the break. But a couple of minutes in to
the second half Ayala hit the post, and with an hour gone Diego Milito picked
up an assist from Zapater to round Notario and roll the ball into the net.
That virtually ended things,
and Diego Milito made sure with a third goal after Sergio García set him
up ten minutes from the end. Iván Alonso headed a late consolation after
Pablo García had headed on a corner from young debutant Dani Aquino, but
it was too late to change the result. Lucas Alcaraz's side drop into the
relegation zone for the first time this season, although with many sides
bunched together they are still only five points away from seventh placed
Valladolid. |
