Zaragoza stay in fifth spot after drawing 2-2 at Getafe, although they will be ruing the loss of two points after going in to a two goal lead in the first half hour. Güiza brought a good save out of César early on, but Sergio García opened the scoring with a shot on the turn after Aimar headed on a long throw a couple of minutes later. Diego Milito had a goal disallowed for a border line offside, and D'Alessandro added the second with a long free kick with bounced past Abbondanzieri into the net ten minutes before the break.

The game appeared to be wrapped up, but on the stroke of half time Manu headed one back from a Paredes cross to put Getafe back in it. Alexis cleared off the line from Sergio García soon after the restart, but Casquero brought another save out of César before striking home a spectacular equaliser on the hour mark. Both sides had chances after that, Güiza going close a couple of times and Diogo bouncing a long cross-come-shot off the crossbar. But in the end they had to settle for a point each, the sixth game in a row that Bernd Schuster's side's had failed to win.
