Getafe are back in the fray for the European spots after a 1-2 win at Recreativo Huelva. Bernd Schuster's side had gone off the boil a bit before beating Real Madrid last weekend, but their new found confidence helped them to a second win in a row which takes them up to eighth, level on points with sixth placed Zaragoza.

Pachón put the visitors ahead with an individualist goal shortly before the interval, choosing to shoot inside Laquait's near post rather than pass to Cazorla who was free in front of goal. Soon after the restart Sinama-Pongolle combined with Javi Guerrero to equalise with a shot from the right of the area, but Manu Del Moral surprised Laquait with a long header twenty minutes from the end, the striker not celebrating the goal out of respect for his old side.

The locals could still have saved a point though when they were awarded a last minute penalty after Pulido handled in the area. But Abbondanzieri guessed correctly and dived to save Javi Guerrero's kick. Getafe had the three points, and they move above their opponents in the table.
