Zaragoza and Deportivo both kept up their unbeaten records after drawing 1-1, although in the home side's case it was a disappointing result as it meant a fourth tied game out of the five they have played to date.

The first chance of the game fell to Munitis, who chipped just wide of the far post after taking a return pass. But soon afterwards Savio found Diego Milito with a low cross for the striker to turn the ball wide of the keeper.

The rest of the first half though belonged to Depor, with César saving well from De Guzman and Andrade having a headed goal disallowed for offside. Diego Tristán thought he had scored when his shot bounced down off the crossbar onto the goal-line, but soon afterwards he did get his name on the scoresheet when he headed a Munitis free kick in to the net.

Both keepers were in action after the restart, with Molina saving from an Oscar header and another effort from Diego Milito, and César keeping out a fierce shot from Rubén Castro later on. But in the end the two sides had to make do with a point which leaves the visitors in fifth place and their hosts two points behind them in eighth.
