Numancia and Albacete shared the points in a dull 0-0 draw at the Pajaritos stadiu in Soria. It was a hard game, often broken up by fouls and crunching tackles, typical of two teams who are expected to be fighting for survival by the end of the season. Chances were few and far between, with Tevenet putting one effort early on and Mikel heading against the bar at the other end before the break. The locals came closer after the break, Ros and Pignol both putting efforts wide of the post and the referee turning down a penalty claim when Viaud appeared to handle the ball in the area, but in fact the most exciting moment for the fans was actually the letting off of balloons before kick off.
