Zaragoza joined the leading
group of six teams on seven points after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Albacete.
Víctor Muñoz's side took the lead as early as the second minute
when Javi Moreno scored from a wide angle, and the born-again striker could
have had a second had Gaspar not cleared his effort away with the keeper
beaten. But the visitors turned the scoreline around before the break, Pacheco
squaring the match with a second bite of the cherry after his header was saved,
the referee ignoring claims that he controlled the ball with his arm, and
Redondo cutting in from the right to score an individualist goal.
Rubén Castro could
have got a third after the interval when his effort was saved by Luis
García, but Zaragoza raced down the other end and Moreno got his second
of the night from Galletti's cross. And the striker turned provider five
minutes later to set up Savio to restore the lead. Villa put the result beyond
doubt soon afterwards, and Rubén Castro's late goal was not enough to
earn the visitors what would have been their first point of the season.
