3-0. 53. Baptista. Picked up Martí's square pass and hit low shot past keeper.

A comfortable win for Sevilla against newly promoted Levante, with Brazilians Renato and Baptista getting the goals between them. The Andalucians should have taken the lead when Darío Silva somehow managed to head a corner against the bar from close up in the opening minutes, but Manchev could have put the visitors in front had Esteban not held his ground. Renato though got the goal the home fans were hoping for in the twentieth minute when he headed Martí's long throw past Mora, although it was not without controversy as the visiting defenders claimed that Darío Silva had fouled a defender as the ball bounced through.

The match swung definitively in Sevilla's favour though in the first minute of the second half after under 21 international Jesús Navas swathed through the defence, his angled shot being pushed by Mora into the path of Baptista for the easiest of tap-ins. And seven minutes later Baptista picked up a pass from Martí to turn quickly past the defence and score a third. The Brazilian international had to leave the field a few minutes later with an injury, but his job was done and Sevilla move to within a point of the leaders.
