Leganés surprised Las Palmas, beating them 1-4 in their Insular stadium. A headed goal ten minutes from the end by Bruno Marioni gave Tenerife a 1-1 draw at struggling Eibar in their Sunday lunchtime game. Getafe failed to make it four home wins in a row, and were held to a 1-1 draw in their Sunday morning kick off game against bottom club Oviedo. The Madrid based side went in front with a quarter of an hour gone when Nano headed a corner past Jonathan, but despite several chances later on were unable to add to their lead. Lozano took advantage of a long ball to make it all square twelve minutes from the end, keeping alive their hopes of salvation.
