Osasuna moved off the bottom
spot with a 0-1 victory over a Zaragoza side who dominated for much of the
game. Fresh from their victory in the UEFA cup, Txetxu Rojo gave Bilic his
first start for Zaragoza. Osasuna manager Miguel Angel Lotina included his
three new signings in his squad, although only Contreras started, with Fernando
and Manolo making an appearance in the second half. Osasuna had not scored a
goal in their first three games, and in the end it took an own goal to open
their account, Aguado turning David Cano's innocent cross past his own keeper
in the first half. It was a hard game, with Juanele finally losing his nerves
with the provocative Armentano and getting himself sent off for pushing the
ball at his stomach after he refused to move away from a free kick.
