Leaders Salamanca were beaten by third placed Extremadura to narrow the gap at the top. The only goal of the match came from Juanito early in the first half. Recreativo moved away from the danger zone, at the same time anchoring Toledo firmly at the foot of the table with a 3-0 victory. All league positions may be affected however by the eventual fate of Logroñes. They failed to find a buyer by the deadline this week and now enter a ten day liquidation period.
