Spain's Olympic side were brought down to Earth by a physically superior Senegal in their first warm-up game, the Africans running out 0-2 victors in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. With the squad only coming together a few days ago, and still missing their three senior colleagues Javi Martínez, Jordi Alba and Mata, Luis Milla's team were no match for their opponents. With only a quarter of an hour on the clock Seck headed the visitors in to the lead, and Sadio Mané added a second at the beginning of the second half to wrap things up. Spain play their second and final practice match against Mexico next Wednesday.
