The “clásico” postponed from a couple of months ago finally took place this Wednesday, Barcelona and Real Madrid playing out a 0-0 draw in a heavily guarded Nou Camp to stay level at the top of the table. Despite the result it was an intense game, Ter Stegen and Courtois having to make several saves, and Pique and Sergio Ramos clearing off the line from Casemiro and Messi. Varane felt he could have had a couple of penalties, and Bale had a goal disallowed for offside later on, but in the end the scoreline remained unmoved. (18.12.19)
