Barcelona consolidated top spot of their group after a 1-2 win at Slavia Prague on Wednesday. Messi combined with Arthur to open the scoring with only three minutes gone, but Ter Stegen had to make a string of saves before Boril levelled the scores soon after the break. Soon afterwards though Olayinka turned a Luis Suárez shot into his own net, and the Catalans could have won by a bigger margin had Messi and Suárez not missed chances later on. Valencia though are now down to third in their group after they drew 1-1 at Lille. Cheryshev gave the Ches the lead following a Gameiro assist with just over an hour on the clock, but Diakhaby got himself sent off near the end, and with the game in the fifth and final minute of time added on, Ikoné saved a point for the hosts.
