Europa League qualifiers

Espanyol will be joining Sevilla and Getafe in tomorrow’s league stage draw after they won through their three qualifying ties. In the second qualifying round they beat Iceland’s Stjarnan, winning 4-0 at home with two each from Ferreyra and Iglesias, and 1-3 away, Pedrosa, Iglesias and Ferreyra the scorers there. In the third qualifying round they knocked out Luzern with 3-0 victories both away and at home, Ferreyra, Didac and Vargas netting in Switzerland, and Wu Lei and youngster Campuzano (twice) in Barcelona. And in the play-off round they beat Zorya Lhuansk, winning 3-1 at home with strikes from Ferreyra, Javi López and Vargas, and drawing 2-2 in Ukraine, with Ferreyra and Vargas again on the scoresheet.
