The new season has already started, with Sevilla kicking things off in the Europa League qualifiers. They had no problems seeing off their rivals Ujpest though, and a 4-0 victory should take them through comfortably to the next round. It was Pablo Machin’s first official game in charge, and he saw Jesús Navas open the scoring early on. With just over half an hour gone the visitors were left with ten men when Pauljevic was sent off for bringing down Sarabia in the area, Ben Yedder converting the resulting spot kick. Sarabia himself made it three after Navas set him up shortly before the break, and Franco Vázquez headed the fourth from a Ben Yedder cross right at the end.
