Spain’s under 21 side finished the year with a 1-1 draw against France in their latest friendly international, and they will now be looking forward to next summer’s European finals. Luis De la Fuente’s team went ahead in the tenth minute when Oyarzabal converted a penalty after Pedraza was brought down in the area. Carlos Soler hit the bar later on in the first half, but with ten minutes to go Mateta levelled it for the hosts.
