There will be a Madrid team in each of the European finals this year after Atlético beat Arsenal 1-0 in their Europa League semi-final! After the 1-1 draw in the first leg, Arsene Wenger’s side needed to score, but Oblak was hardly troubled in the first half. Diego Costa and Griezmann did go close at the other end though, and with half time approaching the two combined for Costa to run on and beat Ospina. After the restart Oblak had to save from Xhaka, and Ramsey and Mkhitaryan tried their luck, but Fernando Torres could have added to the lead late on. Atleti held on though to go through to meet Olympique Marseille in the final in Lyon, looking for their third title in the competition.
