Athletic Bilbao are through to the play-off round of the Europa League after beating Dinamo Bucharest 3-0 on Thursday, a good result for Kuko Ziganda in his first game in charge at the San Mamés stadium. After the 1-1 draw in the first leg, the Basque side had the advantage, and Aduriz had a headed goal ruled out for a questionable offside before Raúl García headed the opener after De Marcos played a long Beñat corner back in to the box. Four minutes later García added a second with a low volley from Beñat’s centre, and Muniain hit the post shortly before the break. Cosmin Contra’s team didn’t get close to Herrerín’s goal though until Mahlangu shot just wide in the closing minutes, and Aduriz wrapped things up following a quick breakaway near the end.
