Atlético Madrid end the second round of games down in third place in their difficult group after they lost 1-2 at home to Chelsea. Griezmann gave Simeone’s side a first half lead from the penalty spot after David Luiz fouled Lucas Hernández in the area, but the visitors had had the best of play before that, with Hazard hitting the post, and Oblak having to save from Morata. With an hour gone Morata headed the equaliser from Hazard’s centre, and with a draw seemingly on the cards, substitute Batshuayi connected with a cross from Marcos Alonso to score an injury time winner.
