Sevilla rounded off a good first week for La Liga teams, the Andalusians drawing 2-2 at Liverpool on Wednesday evening. Ben Yedder gave the visitors an early lead from Escudero’s cross, but strikes by Firmino and Salah, the first from Moreno’s centre, and the second with a shot which looped in off a defender, turned the scoreline around by the break (the referee waving away claims for a possible foul on N’Zonzi in the build up). Firmino could have increased the lead had he not fired a penalty kick against the post after Pareja fouled Mané in the area shortrly before half time, and Sergio Rico had to keep out Wijnaldum after the restart. With twenty minutes to go however Joaquín Correa made it all square again after Muriel put him through, and the locals ended with ten men when Joe Gómez picked up a second booking near the end.
