Spain finished off their Elite round with a 2-0 victory over Norway, although the defeat to hosts England in their previous game meant that they had no chance of qualifying for the finals. Mboula set up Dani Gómez for the opener on the stroke of half time, and then scored the second himself following an assist from Pol Lozano shortly after Ajer had been sent off. England beat Belarus 5-1 though in the other group game to finish the stage with maximum points, and they will go through to Georgia this summer.
