Spain’s under 19 side got off to the best possible start in their Elite round group, a 5-0 victory over Belarus taking them top of the table after the opening day. Real Madrid’s Oscar Rodríguez started things off, and Dani Gómez (also Madrid) and Mboula (Barcelona) got two each after that. Hosts England beat Norway 3-0 though in the other group game, and Spain and England now meet in two days’ time, with only one place for the finals in Georgia up for grabs.
