Spain are in to the final for the second year in a row after they beat Germany in the penalty shoot out! Team captain Abel Ruíz had a chance to win it for Santi Denia’s side with ten minutes to go when Ludewig gave away a penalty on José Alonso, but the Barcelona forward fired his spot kick against the crossbar. The game went in to penalties though (the first under the trial ABBA system), and Ruíz converted his before keeper Alvaro Fernández saved the next, and Guillamón beat Plogmann with the last kick to take Spain through to meet England on Friday.
