Summer transfers

Only four days to go until the transfer window closes, and the transfer market is hotting up! There was a brief respite as teams concentrated on the opening games of the season, but this week we have seen Bravo (Manchester City) and Lucas Pérez and Mustafi (Arsenal) leave for the Premier League, and goalkeepers Cillessen (Barcelona) and Sirigu (Sevilla) come to Spain. Clubs are also offloading their excess baggage, Atlético loaning out Oliver Torres, Diego Jota and Manquillo and Barcelona finding homes for Samper and Douglas this week, but several players still have to move on, and the bargain hunters are watching keenly. There may still be some big moves as well, with Barcelona trying to sign Valencia’s Paco Alcácer and Real Madrid’s James a target for several teams, but whatever the case it will all end at midnight on Wednesday.
